Sarah Chamberlin is Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President, Community Giving and Engagement at CAMH Foundation since 2019. She brings a unique combination of private sector and not-for-profit leadership experience to the organization. Sarah and her team are the driving force in developing powerful marketing and fundraising strategies that inspire people to join the movement and support CAMH, Canada’s leader in mental health.
Sarah began her career in mental health advocacy and then spent several years in various communications, marketing and strategy positions within the tech sector, most notably at BlackBerry. She has led large teams and high-profile projects at BlackBerry, BSM Technologies (now GEOTAB) and as the Global Head, Marketing and Communications at WE.
For generations, mental illness has shaped Sarah's family's story. She cares deeply about challenging the stigma that still stands in the way of people living their best lives and she is passionate about leveraging CAMH's voice to provide hope and help.
In addition to a dual B.A. from Carleton (Psychology and English), Sarah holds an Executive MBA from the University of Toronto and the Global Executive MBA-HSG from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland (and is slowly learning the ancient healing system of Chinese Medicine.)
